Took my acoustic guitar to Erlewine Guitar to have frets and intonation issues corrected. Mr. Erlewine resurrected my guitar from the "I'm about to trade" list to "This is again my favorite acoustic guitar" list. He is an humble craftsman and an artist. Thanks Mr. Erlewine.
Mark is always spot on with his recommendations and a pleasure to work with
I talked briefly with Mark but my problem was too expensive for him to fix it. I like Mark. Very calm and to the point.
Hand off of the guitar was done without a hitch.
I can only say that dropping off my ‘66 Strat felt eerily similar to dropping off our kids on the first day of kindergarten! Mark made me feel like my “child” was in great hands. The process was COVID-19 safe, and we went over scope of work and expectations. So far so good!
Mark Erlewine is a craftsman in every sense of the word. I would never rush him, not that would be a problem, but I respect his talent. He did a fabulous job with my Maton, and gave me a thorough evaluation and quote. My guitar is much better for his work, and is more fun and comfortable to play. Great job!
Mark does excellent work worth every penny to ensure the best playability of your instrument. I cannot recommend enough.
Took my'72 Ampeg Dan Armstrong guitar to Mark as it was having tuning issues. He worked closely with me on recommendations and advice. When he finished it sounds just as good as when it was new. Excellent workmanship. I highly recommend and trust him.
As usual Mark did a fantastic job. my instruments play and sound so much better.
Exemplary work. Absolute trust in his quality of repair. Fixed intonation issues with my '49 00-21: sounds great up the neck now.
Mark is a true artist and an Austin legend. If you need work done on your axe, he is the best there is. Great service and quick turn around time.
Grateful for the repair work. First time having work done here, and will recommend to any folks needing guitar work from here on.
Proffessional, affordable, and knowledgeable. Fantastic service!
Excellent work on my guitars. Highly recommend.
Mark is always professional and thorough inspecting my gear and only recommends work that the guitar needs. This is the 3rd guitar i have taken in for repair and have always been very happy with the results.
Mark was great in helping diagnose my family's 1971 Epi D28 copy. I'm very happy knowing the work performed will be worth every penny. Looking forward to dropping it off very soon after unloading a Taylor.
